Amarina Nursing Home and Dementia Hostel

Amarina Aged Care currently provides residential high level care for 60 full time residents.

Situated in Windsor, an inner northern suburb of Brisbane, Amarina has been providing high level care (nursing home) at this location for 20 years. The Amarina Aged Care Team consists of fully trained and experienced staff
Now, in addition to our current facilities we are proud to offer "low care (hostel) dementia specific accommodation".

In December 2002, Amarina Aged Care will open a 25-bed dementia specific residential low care facility - adjacent to the long standing Nursing Home. This new facility is a purpose built Dementia hostel specifically catering for low care dementia residents.

The experienced care staff of our NEW Dementia Care Hostel will have access to current IT technology assuring Amarina Aged Care Residents the very best in on going care.

A mixture of shared "two bed" rooms with ensuite or single rooms with ensuite is available, allowing a choice of accommodation to suit the residents individual needs.

Amarina Aged Care has a structured and documented path to ongoing aged care which is continuously monitored and updated to ensure the Amarina Community of Care is a safe, pleasant and comfortable atmosphere
